Being crucified

Luke 3:1-6 

I have a wound that is hurting from being stabbed, not the first–and people asked me “why do people try to hurt you?”  I have discovered either drugs, and their own dellusions or I preach by word or action something they do not like–we live in a violent world–I see it every day and following the cross puts you in the line of fire.

“Once, we have full grasped the meaning of the Cross, we are no longer in danger of finding life sad and ugly.  We shall simply have become more attentive to its incomprehensible gravity.”
