“In A Long Line”

St. Jude and St. Simon: Lk. 6:12-16 Today I am reminded I stand in a long line who have gone before me proclaiming the Gopspel and there will be many to follow. My task is simply to proclaim the Gospel and administer the Sacraments in the moment. I am thankful for five things this morning: the joy of life, my health, friendship, being able to serve, and a beautiufl day. A quote that comes to mind this morning is this:

The next time you find yourself alone in a dark alley facing the undeniables of life, don’t covedr them with a blanket or ignore them with a nervous grin. Don’t turn on the TV and pretend they aren’t there. Insread, stand still and whisper his name, and listen. He is nearer than you think Max Lucado
