“Who Do You Say That I Am?”

“Who do you say that I am?” Luke 19-18-22. I have been reading the Genesis stories and as I read the story of Joseph I thought of his life–a process of giving up and getting back, of losing and gaining, of destruction and rebuilding. That is the way my life is and has been.  I went to school, ordained a minister,  and in my own struggles I had to give that up to find myself, and return to ministry.  I lost security, but gained my life. I have done things, been places, and have lived in a place I would never have dreamed many years ago.  My journey has been to answer the call of Jesus “Who do you say that I am?” I see in the losses the blessings, and life is a journey that is awesome if we embrace. it. Deo Gratias! Thanks be to God!
